인도에서 9학년 2번 하고 10학년을 마치고 IGCSE 시험을 마친 학생입니다. (IGCSE 성적말고 학교성적표를 현재 구할 수 가 없네요)
한국에와서 고졸 검정고시 통과했구요. UBC나 미국 주립대학 에 가고싶은데 고등학교 성적없이 토플 점수로만 입학이 불가능 한 것인지 알고 싶습니다.
토플 점수는 어느정도 되어야하는지
학비와 생활비는 1년에 어느정도 하는지
그 외에 스펙이나 수상경력 이런 것들이 필요한지.
전공은 Arts 쪽인 Visual art 지원하고싶거든요..
그리고 UBC에 메일을 보내서 답장을 받았는데 이해가 잘 되지않는 부분들이 있네요
First students must apply to UBC in general, then they are able to take courses towards entering our program in the 3rd year. The UBC Admission Office will determine your acceptance or not to UBC. They will also determine what documentation your application requires.
The BFA VISA program at UBC Vancouver does not begin until the 3rd year. Only students who are eligible to enter the 3rd year courses and 3rd year status at the university will be accepted into the BFA. This means you must have completed the equivalent of our 1st and 2nd year requirements. These requirements are:
• 9 credits of VISA 180/182, VISA 183 and VISA 110 with an average of at least 72%
• 6 credits of 100 or 200 level ARTH, taken in the first two years and with an average grade of at least 72%. ARTH coursework is a required pre- or co-requisite to registration in 200 level VISA coursework for majors
• 12 credits of 200 level VISA courses with an average of at least 72%
Applicants coming to UBC at a first year level apply as BA (Bachelor of Arts) students, take the required courses, and then apply to enter the BFA VISA program at the end of their 2nd year, if this is the program they wish to pursue. There is no portfolio requirement for 1st year applicants.
